Internet Serching Guide

This is a guide on how to use a search engine on the internet (Google, Yahoo, and Bing). There are many ways to limit the amount of results and get the best ones. With a few tips you can get a lot better results

1-      DO NOT use common words like “in, or, and, what, how”. Most search engines will ignore them but it is better not to use them.

2-      Put “  ” around common words that you do not want the search engine to ignore like the famous Shakespeare quote “to be or not to be”. They are all common words but you want them to be used in the search.

3-      If you want a search engine to specify on certain things with an added point than you add a “+” sign. For example, a hotel + swimming pool. If you want a search engine to look for results without a specific thing like a bar, hotel +Pool – bar.

4-      The most important rule is here “BE SPECIFIC”.  If you are not specific you will get thousands of useless results. The more specific the better results.

There are four simple rules to help you search on the internet and get reliable and good results.
